Bambino aka “Bamb” is a 13.3H, 5 yr old Appaloosa gelding. Bamb is the cutest little step up pony for a handy youth or adult looking for something COMFY, small and fun! He is put together super correct and is one of the most handsome little app ponies we’ve ever represented! He has spent the last couple years as a handy kid playday horse, once they were ready for bigger performance horses, he moved on to a trail pony for a younger adult lady! Not many ponies have the handle this guy does! He’s broke like a seasoned big horse, very light to ride around, one hand broke and stops excellent! Bamb is EXTREMELY comfortable and has very floaty gaits! With a little more training, he’d easily make a little breakaway / rope horse prospect as he naturally wants to stop! He’d also be the perfect little rodeo horse for the handier kids wanting something fun and athletic!! Bambino goes the speed you ask, when you ask of him and is easy to ride and get along with. He’ll walk through water, and stays quiet on trails and in the arena. He’s happy to do any job you put him to and will go all day if you need. Bamb is NOT your typical “hot” pint sized jar of fun. He is calm, cool and collected and will never go faster than you ask! He’s NOT a “blown up” playday pony by any means. He’s very respectful and only really wants to please. Many horses his size are yee yawed around on by kids and as a result are hot and fractious to ride. NOT Bamb! He’s been rode by very respectful, handy kids that have rode him correctly! Being that he’s only 5, we do suggest an experienced rider only due to the fact he is pretty handy and athletic! He loads, leads, bathes, ties good and is UTD on feet, teeth and coggins!
