It’s my honor to introduce BIG BEN, an absolutely gorgeous bay cross-bred gelding standing a beautiful and stout 15.3 hands tall. Ben is 3 years old and has his whole life ahead of him! Ben has worked cattle countless hours, from sorting cow-calf pairs to doctoring at the feed lots, and has been trail-ridden all over Kentucky and Tennessee. He has a beautiful smooth lope that’s to die for! Ben is traffic and wildlife-safe, and gunfire doesn’t faze him. We’ve squirrel and coon hunted off him and led dogs with him. He is truly such a wonderful animal. Ben stands to be clipped, bathed, and shod. He is the first to greet you, and he’s an in-your-pocket type horse; he loves attention! Ben will take both leads, and flying lead change when ask , he is very soft in the face and will flex at the pole every time ask , he has a smooth collected jog , and will one stop lope off like a pleasure horse , he will back and side pass , Ben will side to a stop if ask , he also has been started on laying down for mouthing , and is doing well with that , Ben is easy to catch and tack up , load and unload , he also stands good for the farrier and on a pick line!
