Akimo is kerngezond en een heerlijke ziel. Hij is een Knabstrupper met een typisch koppig hoofd, maar tegelijkertijd ongelooflijk mensgericht. Hij is geen knuffelpaard en is niet getraind om stil gehoorzaam te zijn. Akimo heeft zijn eigen ideeën en praat met je, zelfs als hij zich niet goed voelt of iets niet wil doen. Hij heeft echter volledig vertrouwen in mensen en als je hem de tijd geeft, kan hij veel uitdagingen aan. Hij heeft een persoon nodig met het zelfvertrouwen en de kalmte die hem laat weten 'ik weet wat ik doe'. Als je naar Akimo luistert, zul je voor alles met hem een oplossing vinden en veel plezier hebben. Hij heeft geen ondeugendheid, scheurt niet weg of zo, maar hij is niet getraind om stil gehoorzaam te zijn. We gaan pas sinds lange tijd het bos in, hij heeft soms goede dagen maar ook slechte dagen als hij schrikt, op goede dagen kun je uren met hem door de natuur zwerven of wedstrijden lopen. Ik wil graag een liefdevol persoon voor hem die hem ziet in zijn persoonlijkheid, Akimo zou het liefst vlak bij het woonkamerraam wonen, hij is een echt Pippi Langkous paard, maar in ieder geval met ruimte om het hele jaar door te spelen en rennen met zijn maatjes (hij kan ook in een gemengde kudde leven). Verder heeft hij niet veel nodig, alleen een zachte plek om te slapen en altijd wat te eten. Nie jest milusińskim koniem i nie został wyszkolony do bycia cicho posłusznym. Akimo ma własne pomysły i rozmawia z tobą, nawet jeśli nie czuje się dobrze lub nie chce czegoś robić. Ma jednak pełne zaufanie do ludzi i jeśli da mu się czas, poradzi sobie z wieloma wyzwaniami. Potrzebuje osoby pewnej siebie i spokojnej, która da mu znać "wiem, co robię". Jeśli posłuchasz Akimo, znajdziesz rozwiązanie na wszystko i będziesz się z nim dobrze bawić. Nie jest niegrzeczny, nie wyrywa się ani nic, ale nie był szkolony na cichego posłuszeństwa. Od dłuższego czasu chodzimy tylko do lasu, czasami ma dobre dni, ale też złe, kiedy się płoszy, w dobre dni można z nim godzinami wędrować po okolicy lub biegać na wyścigi. Chodzi z tobą jak przyjaciel, reaguje na najdrobniejsze sygnały i zawsze jest z tobą. Zna również osobę na swoim grzbiecie, ale nie jest dalej szkolony. Nosi cię z wielką dumą i reaguje bardzo wrażliwie na każdą energię. Chciałbym dla niego kochającej osoby, która widzi go w jego osobowości, Akimo wolałby mieszkać tuż przy oknie salonu, jest prawdziwym koniem Pippi Longstocking, ale w każdym razie z przestrzenią do zabawy i biegania z kolegami przez cały rok (może również żyć w mieszanym stadzie). Nie potrzebuje wiele więcej, tylko miękkie miejsce do spania i zawsze coś do jedzenia. W stadzie potrzebuje silnego ramienia, na którym mógłby się oprzeć, ale jest samowystarczalny i nie lgnie do nikogo, odpoczywa w sobie, ale nie jest uległy. Oddam go tylko wtedy, gdy wszystko będzie w porządku i mam co do niego dobre przeczucia!
