Introducing to you Rusty a 14 hand 6 year old grade poa gelding!
Rusty is the perfect jack all of trades gelding! He has been used at 44 thousand head feed yard and roping loose cattle on the outside! We have taken him to the fun shows for the kids to play around with him on the barrels and poles and the other fun events they have. He has also been started over the jumps and has been jumping around 3 foot. He will ride out alone or in a group either way doesn’t bother him. Rusty is traffic safe and use to being around kids, dogs, cows, goats, sheep, chickens and turkeys. He will walk, trot, lope, and take his correct leads without any hesitation. He has been used to push cattle in and out of the arena and through the pastures up the alley ways. While trail riding he will go through or over any obstacles you encounter along the trail with ease. We have also used him to pony colts. He will stand still for you to mount and dismount whether it’s from the ground or mounting block or a fallen tree on the trail he doesn’t mind! He is 100 percent sound in every way. Rusty will stand for you to be saddled, bridled and to be brushed. He loads and unloads out of the trailer with ease. He will also stand perfect for the farrier. He also gets along well with others out in the pasture too. He is stout made and handles roping the bigger cows no problem. He’s no stranger to a good days work and loves it! He would make a cool junior rodeo horse for a kid I believe! Rusty is a nice gelding that the kids have enjoyed the pleasure of having and riding around here.
