Introducing Woody, a registered AQHA gelding off the famous Bartlett Ranch. I have had a few Bartlett horses and they are absolutely the best, Woody including. he stands approximately 16 hands tall and is thick built for all sized riders. Woody has a really smooth easy one hand neck rein, a nice easy smooth trot and smooth collected lope. Woody is a super easy horse to have around he is quiet and gentle. He’s always easy to catch, has great ground manners, stands tied and crossed tied quietly, he stands perfectly still to be groomed, tacked and for the farrier. He is great for baths and the vet. He has been used for all types of ranch work and trails, and lessons, cattle sorting and he will gladly try anything you ask of him. I really enjoy having woody around because I know he’ll always be the same horse anytime you pull him out to go for a ride, whether it’s everyday or once a week. Woody would make a fantastic all around horse for any level of rider, he could easily go back to ranch work or even make a nice ranch riding show horse! He always stands perfectly still to mount from the ground or a mounting block. Woody has nice thick sturdy legs and great feet. He currently has all 4 shoes on just because we have a lot of rocks here in western PA, but his feet are good I don’t think he would need them. He is up to date on vaccinations, coggins, dental.
