Poncho is a 12 year old bay Quarter Horse gelding standing 14.3 hands high. He is a trail and ranch horse deluxe! With a true one hand neck rein, lope departures both ways, and picks up both leads easily. He thrives on relationship and would love to have one person to form a bond with!
He has been roped off of, used to doctor cattle, sorts, pens, and has been used to load trucks. He has pulled the kids in the sled in the snow, and is a steady eddy for the kids to ride in the ring. He stands to get on and off, has smooth gaits, and is all around a solid citizen.
He is fantastic on the trails, a true trail master. We have ridden though town, and doesn’t care about any commotion. Ride him in tack, or bareback, he is always safe and steady for any rider.
