Looking for that once in a lifetime type of horse? Clutch is just that, in every way you can think of. This gorgeous 16 hand, 2013 palomino AQHA gelding is truly outstanding. He is an own son of the famous Frenchmans Guy, who has produced some of the top performance horses and who has progeny earnings of over $20 million.
Beyond his fantastic bloodlines, Clutch has the best mind and has the sweetest, most patient soul. He is absolutely gentle and safe for anyone to handle and ride. He has even taught kids how to ride for their first time off of the lead line here! Clutch is quiet and easy going on the ground, loves attention, and is in your pocket. You can climb all over, under and around this horse and he won’t move a muscle. He is good to shoe, patient at the vet, stands tied anywhere quietly, and loads and hauls nicely. Clutch has absolutely zero vices, he is just a nice boy have around in every way. He does not get buddy or barn sour, and gets along with other horses.
When it comes to riding, Clutch is quite an all around gelding. He is fantastic out on the trails, alone or with others, in front or in the back. He will cross anything you point him at without hesitation. He is sure footed and game for anything you throw at him. This guy is very very broke! He has a great neck rein, nice turn around, knows the word “woah” and will lope out of his tracks on the correct lead. Clutch has also been hauled running barrels, he averages in the 2/3D. He has a nice pattern, no alley issues, and enjoys it. If that’s not enough, Clutch is also super fancy and has taken to dressage extremely well. He is soft in the bridle, stays collected, moves off your leg and bends, and has nice consistent, easy gaits. He has been started doing some lateral work with this as well. He could easily go to a low level dressage show tomorrow and do very well, and has room to improve and move up the levels. Clutch has also carried the flag, and ridden through town and drive throughs. Nothing phases this guy, he’s the same horse in new places as he is at home. We have used Clutch to give beginner kid lessons, and he is a very forgiving and patient teacher. Absolutely no buck, rear, run off, bite or kick and does not get fresh with time off. Clutch even rides bareback and bridleless! Hop on from the fence and ride him off, he’ll be the same horse every day. He is truly a “no worries” type of horse that anyone can take and have fun with.
Clutch is currently shod on all four, and has clean legs and good feet. He is UTD on shoeing, teeth and coggins and will come with a health certificate. Clutch is truly a magnificent and quality gelding in all ways. We will be very sad to say goodbye to him, but are so excited and proud to be able to make someone’s dreams come true by offering him!
