Slick ist ein 13-jähriger Quarter-Horse-Wallach, der 14,2 Hände groß ist und eine wirklich ziemlich satte rote Farbe mit gerade genug Chrom aufweist, um ihn auffällig zu machen. Slick hat einen wirklich guten Körperbau und ist ein einfacher Torhüter. Slick wurde hauptsächlich als Ranchpferd eingesetzt und draußen geritten, aber irgendwann hat auch jemand gute Arbeit in der Arena mit ihm gemacht! Slick ist weich im Gesicht und weiß, wie man seitliche Pässe und Beinnachgiebigkeit in beide Richtungen spielt, hat einen großartigen Stop-Fluid-Back-up und dreht sich in beide Richtungen. Slick führt auch um ein abhändiges Bein herum und läuft mit Leichtigkeit über Bodenstangen, überquert Holzbrücken und fährt im Zickzack durch Stangen und Fässer. Slick verlässt die Arena, als wäre es sein Job, selbstbewusst steile Böschungen hinauf- und hinunterzufahren und kann sich gut über unwegsames und unebenes Gelände bewegen. Er wird durch das Wasser gehen und über den toten Fall treten. Slick eignet sich gut für Einzel- oder Querbinder und ist Höhenmesser für die Pflege und das Satteln sowie gut im Waschständer für ein Bad. Er hat sich sowohl für den Tierarzt als auch für den Hufschmied verhalten. Slick lädt in jeden Anhängerstil und zieht großartig! Slick verkauft Sound ohne Laster oder Einschränkungen. Slick is a 13 year old grade quarter horse gelding stands 14.2 hands tall and boasts a really pretty rich red color with just enough chrome to make him flashy. Slick has a really nice build and is an easy keeper. Slick was mainly used as a ranch horse and ridden outside but somewhere along the line someone did some good arena work with him too! Slick is soft in face and knows how to side pass and leg yield both ways, has a great stop- fluid back up and will turn on haunches both ways. Slick will guide around one handed off leg as well and will walk over ground poles, cross over wooden bridges and zig zags through poles and barrels with ease. Slick goes out of the arena like it’s his job, confident about going up and down steep embankments and is fine traveling over rough and uneven terrain. He will walk through water and step over dead fall. Slick is good single tied or on cross ties and is altimeter for grooming and saddling as well as good in the wash rack for a bath. He’s behaved for both the vet and the farrier. Slick loads into any style trailer and hauls great! Slick sells sound with no vices or limitations. As always vet checks are welcomed at the prospective buyers expense.
