Wise beyond his years Merle rides Western, English, Bareback, & drives. This 3 yr old, 15.2 hand Quarter Horse/Belgian cross gelding is exceptional!
Merle has a great foundation. He lopes circles on the correct lead both directions. Smooth at all gaits. Moves off leg pressure. Neck reins or direct reins depending on rider preference. Super light in the bridle, finger tip control.
Merle is a trustworthy trail partner. Frequently ridden by children. He crosses water, down brush, and navigates rough terrain with ease.
Merle is often my first choice when toting my 18 month old son along on the trail…I trust him that much! Merle stands for mounting/dismounting….even picks the baby up from the mounting block!
Merle is a pleasurable horse to have around. He is easy to catch. He follows me to the barn every morning.The kids can pick his stall, lead him out, and handle him with ease. He stands tied, cross tied with zero issues. He has a friendly personality…enjoys being bathed, being groomed, & loves his fan!
Merle is safe! He has undergone extensive desensitization training. He is unflappable! He carries the flag, comfortable around tarps, barking dogs, gun safe, acclimated to other livestock. Exposed daily to children, strollers, & fourwheelers .
Merle is easy to keep. He is perfectly content living on pasture or can be stall kept. He turns out fine with both mares & geldings alike….zero issues. He is barefoot….never been shod. Great feet! Kept on a regular trim schedule & picks up all four feet with ease.
