“Spade” is a 5 year old 14.2 hand AQHA grey gelding. If his color doesn’t turn heads- his training will! This is a horse the whole family can enjoy- let the kids take him for a trail ride before Dad takes him to a jackpot.
Spade has had a very successful career as a rope horse and has pulled checks at jackpots as well as ranch rodeos. You can rope either end on him. He is quiet in the box, rates cattle and is as honest as they come. Does not get hot, practice as much as YOU need then go enter- he will put you where you need to be every-time.
He is also a real deal ranch horse. Spade has been used extensively in all aspects of ranch work from gathering and shipping to branding- he is your guy!
This guy is has a true one hand neck rein, he is fancy with lots of buttons & cool moves. He is soft, supple and rides very correct. Nice, smooth lope & big stop. A distinguished horseman will appreciate all the buttons this athletic gelding has to offer. He is gentle, safe and easy to get along with.
Spade has seen all sorts of farm equipment and has been through our trail obstacle course. Loves going for trail rides or plopping around the arena. Nothing phases this guy! A kid or beginner can easily navigate him down the trails or around the arena, he is a trustworthy young gelding.
No bad habits or funny business. Spade loves attention & is such a gentle guy, he is very respectful. Spade is an absolute gentleman for the farrier, stands to be saddled/mounted & bridled. Up to date on vaccines and in fantastic health.
