WOW!!! If you have been looking for an Appaloosa you have just struck the Lottery of the appy world!!! Apollo is a beautiful appaloosa gelding with a blanket, white legs, a blaze face, he is a 5 yrs old and he stands around 14.3 hands tall! He has been used in South Texas on a feed lot and has rode pens checking cattle, sorting, doctoring and loading trucks. If you can get a rope on it, he will sure try to hold it and he never gets nervous in a rough situation. Apollo has been hauled on week long and weekend trail rides. He has been ridden by all members of our family and is safe and gentle for beginners to ride. He can handle the rough rocky trails, steep inclines and deep water… nothing bothers him and he feels right at home on the trails! Apollo stands on a picket line, stalls well and gets along with other horses. He loads and unloads in trailer fine and does well for farrier. This gelding has a nice one hand neck-rein, a good stop and is soft in the mouth. Apollo has a nice lope, picks up his leads, and does all the arena work as well.
