Twister is a gorgeous black gelding we are very proud to offer. This beautiful gelding has been trail ridden a lot, and he has been exposed to all kinds of trail obstacles. He will even sidepass over to a mounting block or gate to pick you up for easy mounting. If you can hold the reins you can get along with him. He is honestly one of the most gentle horses we have ever owned. He is kid friendly but is also big enough to make an excellent husband horse. He absolutely loves attention, he meets you at the gate, and he will do anything you ask him to do. He is a very friendly gelding that loves to be with people. This gelding has very smooth gaits. He has had several years of professional training so he has a nice handle. He is used to rocky terrain and crossing bridges and logs. Twister is used to all kinds of farm animals and has been exposed to deer and wild hogs out on the trails. He is completely 100% traffic safe, also. He is also great in the arena, he picks up both leads with ease and lopes slow and correct circles on a loose rein. Twister also doesn’t mind being ridden bareback. He’s got a nice easy stop that he really hunts for and solid gait transitions. He is very soft in the face and rides great in just a snaffle, but he will also ride in any kind of bridle you would like. He has been exposed to loud noises, ropes, traffic, dogs, water, and bridges and he takes it all in stride. I really can’t say enough good things about him. He is the kind you don’t find every day. He can go in any direction you want him. He is an old soul and would really suit anyone with his kind and willing demeanor. He would also be great in a lesson program. He is very forgiving. Twister is 100% sound. He has a current coggins and he is up to date on all of his farrier, dental, worming, and vaccinations.
