Good Talkin Max is a well built gelding standing between 14.2-14.3hh, he is a 2016 model registered Appaloosa Horse Club Red Roan Gelding. I’v owned Max since last fall and have done everything with him from trail riding to team penning to doctoring calves. He is a super laid back horse that I feel anyone can ride and a horse that I would certainly send my 88 year old Grandma out on with no hesitations! I have total confidence in this horse and know that he will help build your confidence! Max has been trail ridden lots of miles in multiple states. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe riding in traffic. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, a big stop, turns a circle both ways and backs with ease! He is a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew, head out alone or follow behind with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Max is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave. Max is a horse that can do any job that you ask him too and will suit any level of rider!!!
