Lady ~ Sensible All-Around AQHA

"Lady” is a 14 year old, 15-15.1hh, registered AQHA mare. This girl is put together extremely well, and has a sensible brain to match. She’s built thick and sturdy, the type that will last forever. She has a sweet personality, and loves people. 

Lady has had most of her miles on the trail, and she is a complete trail master in every way. Whether you’re going out blazing new trails, or have some rough terrain, all you have to do is point her in the right direction and she’ll take care of the rest. She will go out in Western or English tack. She is brave over or through bridges, over logs, into the river or crossing the creek, up and down steep mountains, or ride right into town- she’s ready for anything! She always comes to the party with a willing attitude and a good work ethic. We’ve had very novice 6ft men take her out on the trail and she’s careful and sure to bring her rider back in one piece and with a smile. 

Lady is charming, fun, forward thinking, and safe. This mare has absolutely no buck, rear, bite, or kick. Other mares and geldings can ride right up to her without a fuss. You can pony off of her, or pony her, ride away from the group ect, she won’t cause drama. She’s behaved out in the pasture with everyone, and a nice horse to have in the barn. 

In the ring Lady is willing and able to WTC around, and pop over xrails. She’s has a comfortable trot to sit, she’s fairly adjustable, and her canter is ground covering and fun. She stands to mount, and will walk around on a loose rein. You can give a pony ride off of her, or just have fun in the ring. She’s not super educated with fancy buttons, and probably won’t be your next Grand Prix dressage horse, or winner in the jumping ring, but she’s safe. She does prefer her job on the trails, so we would like to see her do what she knows best, however we know she can handle whatever comes her way! 

Lady has been desensitized to dogs, tarps, traffic, flags, smoke bombs, heavy equipment, dirt bikes, golf carts, and just about anything else you can think of. She’s very sensible, because she is more forward thinking, she’d be best suited for a novice or intermediate rider. Or someone could take her and breed her, she definitely has the right mind, and nice conformation to pass down to foals. 

Lady is UTD on coggins, dentist, farrier, and shots. Take her home and you won’t be disappointed! She wants her own person, and is the type of horse you could bond with. She loads into the trailer easily, and knows how to do all kinds of groundwork."
