Foal date: 5.19.2014. Morab, mare, approx 14.3hh, built like a tank, easy keeper, trail horse. Selling because no one is riding her anymore. Full of personality! Daisy will unlock the gates and let herself out; shake out the fencing bag to see what is in there after being told to leave it alone; after a rain, she likes to run and slide in the mud (skid marks are typically 10ft long), etc. Extremely curious. It’s definitely a love/hate relationship. She knows her name when called and is the first to come running up. She has been to Governor Dodge camping (never used a tree line) and Yellowstone Equestrian Park many times. Her feet are like steel, no shoes needed. She will cross creeks, but doesn’t like excessive mud that leads up to the creek (very unsure of herself). She will chase dogs if they bother her and try to stomp on them. She truly is my Braveheart. Bought her when she was 4 months old. She is very sensitive to cues. My cues are not consistent and precise so we don’t do well together, other family members and friends rode her. My trainer will ride her and is the perfect horse. Basically, you will have 5 to 15 minutes to prove yourself to her, then she will decide if you will be the leader or not. Confidence, clear and consistent cues are everything. For training, she can only be taught for 15 minutes, then do something else. Otherwise she gets overwhelmed and frustrated, and it just becomes a mess. It took the 4th trainer to figure her out, so she doesn't learn like the average horse.. The other trainers just thought it would be a good idea to whip her into submission (like beating a horse is ever a good idea for building trust??). She did cut her tendon on the front left leg (see picture). The tendon grew back together, but because of that injury, she can never be used for a sporting event. The ideal situation is for someone to rent/lease her for the summer, then decide if they want to purchase. Rent/lease funds would go towards the purchase price. I am in no rush to sell, so it’s very important to me that the buyer and Daisy click well together.
